What is a TIME BANK?
A time bank is a community exchange system where members trade services using time as currency.
For every hour you spend helping someone—whether it's gardening, tutoring, or home repairs—you earn a time credit. You can then use your credits to receive help from other members in areas where you might need assistance.
Unlike traditional barter or cash transactions, time banks value everyone's time equally, fostering a sense of cooperation, inclusivity, and community-building.
Time banking encourages neighbors to share their skills, build trust, and support one another without the need for money.
