TOWN SOUP

Town Soup is a quarterly community gathering. It is a microgranting dinner celebrating and supporting creative civic projects in Gulfport.

For a $15 donation, attendees enjoy delicious soup, bread and a vote and hear several pitches from community members about their projects for which they need support.

​​

At the end of the evening, votes are tallied. The winner receives all proceeds raised to carry out their project. Winners are invited to the next quarterly Town Soup to report on their projects.

Town Soup is directly inspired by Detroit Soup

and Chicago Sunday Soup.
